What an inspiring and impactful day at the Austrian Embassy Job Fair in Nairobi.

I was pleased to participate in this important initiative on behalf of Amboye & Owuor Co. Advocates, alongside key partners committed to promoting ethical, transparent, and lawful international mobility pathways for Kenyan professionals seeking opportunities in Austria’s social, healthcare, and community sectors.

As part of the programme, I had the opportunity to deliver a presentation on the visa application process, offering practical guidance on legal requirements, common pitfalls, and best practices for successful applications.

The level of engagement and quality of questions from participants reflected the depth of Kenya’s skilled, motivated, and globally competitive talent pool, which continues to align strongly with Austria’s growing demand for qualified professionals.

I extend my sincere appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Christian Fellner and Ambassador Valerie Rugene for hosting this timely and impactful initiative and for their continued leadership in fostering ethical, mutually beneficial talent partnerships between Austria and Kenya.

It was equally rewarding to engage with so many professionals throughout the day. Your curiosity, professionalism, and ambition made the event truly memorable and reaffirmed the importance of clear, accurate legal guidance in cross-border mobility.
With more than 25 Kenyan nurses and social care professionals already having successfully commenced their careers in Austria through structured and ethical pathways, this initiative stands as a strong testament to what sustainable migration partnerships can achieve when law, policy, and practice are aligned.

At Amboye & Owuor Co. Advocates, we remain committed to advancing this shared mission: creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen institutions, and connect communities across Kenya and Austria.
